    McMurry Delivers $150,000 to Local Nonprofits

    Over the past two weeks McMurry delivered a $100,000 check to Florence Crittenton Services of Arizona, as the company’s fifth and final installment of a $500,000 commitment and $50,000 to West Valley Child Crisis Center as the last of five donations totaling $250,000. Preston McMurry Jr., founder of McMurry and its charitable arm, Theresa’s Fund, presented the checks at luncheons to celebrate the success of each organization’s partnership with McMurry.

    McMurry’s charitable arm Theresa’s Fund announced today it will begin seeking grant applications from nonprofit agencies that address child abuse and domestic violence issues in Arizona and the Capital Region of New York state. McMurry’s two offices are based in those locations.

    West Valley Child Crisis Center Receives $250,000 Grant from McMurry

    On Saturday, Oct. 14, the West Valley Child Crisis Center held a gala at the University of Phoenix Stadium to celebrate the center’s 20th anniversary and continued success. More than 300 contributors, volunteers and community members attended. WVCCC Executive Director Brent Morris recognized Preston McMurry Jr., founder of McMurry and its charitable arm, Theresa’s Fund, for his role in the organization’s prosperity.

    Auction of Lucy Liu’s Artwork Raises More Than $330,000

    McMurry and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., along with its partners Girard-Perregaux, A. Link and Veuve Clicquot, recently helped actress and artist Lucy Liu raise $335,050 for three nonprofit organizations: UNICEF, The Ritz-Carlton Community Footprints program and New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.
