McMurry Exceeding Five-Year, $1 Million Cash Giving Goal
In 2007, McMurry established a five-year goal to give $1 million in cash to charities. Just three years later, the company has given $850,915 and is tracking toward reaching the goal in 2010, a year earlier than planned. In fact, come the five-year mark, it appears McMurry will exceed $1.3 million in giving to charities.

McMurry’s Second Acquisition of 2009 Expands Video Specialty
McMurry announced today that it acquired Spark, a New York City-based firm specializing in video creation for environments, corporate communications and broadcast, on Oct. 30. The arrangement marks McMurry’s 12th acquisition since 1998, and its second acquisition during 2009, a year in which many companies have sat on the sidelines.

McMurry and UMOM Win Most Outstanding Partnership
UMOM New Day Centers embarked on an $18 million fundraising effort in 2007 and hired McMurry to create a campaign theme and the supporting marketing and advertising plan and elements. Little did either party know then that the relationship would be so successful that in 2009 they would be recognized as Most Outstanding Partnership at the Phoenix Business Journal’s “Volunteerism—The Heart of Business Awards.”

McMurry Rises on Inc. Magazine’s Exclusive List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—the Inc. 5000
Inc. magazine ranked McMurry No. 3,063 on its third annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. McMurry’s ranking is based on its revenue growth of 88.6 percent from 2005 ($25.4 million) to 2008 ($48.5 million), and this year’s ranking is 110 places higher than last year’s.

McMurry announced today that it acquired Cyrus, an Orlando, Fla.-based firm specializing in custom and managed interactive solutions for the healthcare industry, on April 30.
