‘The Office Professional’ Celebrates 30 + New Website

TheOfficeProfessional.com, redesigned by McMurry in July, offers visitors and members a robust collection of informative and entertaining content six times a day to help administrative professionals excel in their careers and stay up-to-date with office do’s and don’ts and workplace trends. The website is the digital edition of the long-running monthly newsletter (also known as The Office Professional), which celebrates its 30th anniversary as a go-to resource for the admin community this October. The October issue of the newsletter—which is the second issue utilizing a redesigned format similar to the new website’s—reaches back into the archive to highlight changes in workplace culture over the years.

Visitors to TheOfficeProfessional.com engage with and learn from a variety of daily posts on workplace issues (at no cost); those who buy a membership receive a 12-month subscription to the newsletter, access to the complete library of back issues and articles, unlimited use of the archive of audio conference recordings (“on-demand training”), and member discounts from associations and organizations. In addition, members and non-members alike can pay to attend monthly webinars and audio conferences on a variety of relevant workplace topics.

“It’s been a really fun and exciting year for us. We launched the new website in July with an eye toward giving something new to our readers every single day,” says McMurry VP Kyle Crafton. “And then as we put together the 30th anniversary edition of the newsletter this month, we got to spend a lot of time browsing through our archives and learning about how office roles have changed over the years.”
