3rd Season of Strategic Video Awards Unveils New Site

Strategic Video Awards now open for entries through October 19th, 2012
Strategic Video Awards

The communication industry’s only awards program created to honor the message of a video as opposed to a video’s technical aspects is entering its third season and has rolled out a new website. Strategic Video Awards’ new online hub now showcases content such as tips, relevant articles and a “Video of the Week,” serving as a resource for those who want to learn more about how to create strategic videos for their organizations or on behalf of their clients. The Strategic Video Awards is now accepting entries, and submissions can be completed through the site.

Whether the video is a one-time spontaneous Flip Cam video, a highly produced corporate documentary, a lighthearted executive vlog or a serious news program, all videos or video series should be entered into the Strategic Video Awards. The program includes 34 categories, such as diversity communication, external branding, benefits communication and viral video, and all entries are considered for the Grand Award. Ten communication industry experts will judge the entries.

The Strategic Video Awards differs from other programs as it judges the effectiveness of the message versus the technical aspects of the video, and because it is the first video awards program created for everyone who uses video to communicate for corporations, associations, nonprofit organizations, public institutions, colleges and universities, PR firms, ad agencies and content marketers.

To be eligible for a Strategic Video Award, an entry must have been produced between Oct. 1, 2011, and Sept. 30, 2012, and all award submissions can be entered online. The early bird deadline is Sept. 21, 2012, while the regular deadline is Oct. 19, 2012, and the late deadline is Oct. 26, 2012.
