Content Marketing Awards Now Accepting Entries
Phoenix, Ariz., March 7, 2013—The Content Marketing Institute (CMI) announced today that the Content Marketing Awards program, sponsored by McMurry/TMG, is now accepting entries. Submissions will be accepted through May 24, 2013.
A combination of the Magnum Opus Awards and CMI’s Orange Awards, the Content Marketing Awards program has been honoring the world’s top content marketing efforts through media including print, Web and video since 2004.
“Content marketing is a business in revolution, and we are thrilled to be part of this award program that recognizes excellence in the business,” says Joe Pulizzi, founder and executive director of the Content Marketing Institute. “As our industry grows and becomes more competitive, the level of excellence in the submissions continues to impress us.”
“In the burgeoning business of content marketing, everybody claims competence,” says Program Chairman and ContentWise Editor David Murray. “The Content Marketing Awards separate the major leaguers from the me-toos.”
The program offers entrants more than 100 categories for every element of every medium and strategic communication purpose in content marketing. Entries will be judged by an all-star panel of leading industry influencers and experts in content marketing.
Categories cover every aspect of content marketing, recognizing excellence in each element of editorial, design, production and management among digital, print, video, audio-visual, text and social media.
One of the more exciting elements of the awards is the ability for industry members to nominate a content marketing firm for Agency of the Year and an individual practitioner for Content Marketer of the Year. The winners of these awards will be firms and professionals who serve as guiding examples for the entire industry. Award winners will be recognized at Content Marketing World 2013, which is open for registration and will be Sept. 9–12, 2013, in Cleveland, Ohio.
