Getting a Fresh Start
Fresh Start Women’s Foundation is a Phoenix, AZ based nonprofit that helps women in transition who need to get out of a certain situation, gain some guidance on life and/or get access to resources that help them survive. The Foundation recently announced its newest resource for all women, and the newest McMurry public relations partnership for social media client: WeHelpWomen.com.
WeHelpWomen.com is an online resource center for women that shares actionable takeaways from industry experts in career development, finance and personal development. To help create the action-oriented and engaging content, WeHelpWomen.com collaborated with some of the most renowned women in the fields of finance, career strategies and personal branding. Starting with a free assessment, women around the country who visit the site will be given a recommended course guide, including five- to 30-minute online courses.
McMurry is leading the PR and partner development strategy for the site’s launch and its first six months, as well as creating its social media presence.
“Our goal during the next six months is to spread awareness, garner new, paying members and partner with aligned established organizations,” says Account Executive Amy Linert who is overseeing the campaign for McMurry. “It’s a feel-good program with actionable items that are easy to implement and that serve as reminders of things women can do daily to better themselves in various areas.”
McMurry is currently developing partnerships, the first of which is with WomenforHire.com, which will promote the career development courses on WeHelpWomen.com to the thousands of that site’s already-subscribed members.
