What We're Giving

In accordance with our culture and our seventh value, accept social responsibility, we’re as proud as ever to announce that what’s been happening at McMurry is the exact opposite of the current norm the country is experiencing in corporate giving.

This year, we’ve continued our volunteering and fundraising efforts through one of our company charities, Theresa’s Fund, with Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse in Tucson, Ariz., and Parsons Child and Family Center in New York’s Capital Region, the two current recipients of the Theresa’s Fund five-year matching grants ($500,000 and $250,000 respectively).

Also, while it’s only halfway through our fiscal year, our second charitable arm, McMurry Charities, has donated $54,050 to 35 nonprofits around the world. Not only does that amount bring McMurry Charities’ donation total since its 2006 inception to $372,807, but it’s the largest amount of money donated at the mid-year point since the charity’s inception.

Since 2006, Theresa’s Fund and McMurry Charities combined have currently donated $1,087,553, and Theresa’s Fund, which combats domestic violence in all its forms, has donated and helped to raise $43 million for nonprofits in Arizona and New York since its inception in 1992.
